Looking back, celebrating and looking ahead at Networkapp

The end of the year is always a wonderful moment for reflection. Taking a step back, looking at what has happened and feeling how many steps have been taken. For Networkapp, it was a year in which movement, growth and depth came together. A year that showed how far we have come and at the same time how much potential still lies ahead.

Successfully recertified for ISO 27001:2022

After a thorough audit by CIIO, the certifier for professional services, we were once again certified for ISO 27001:2022. This confirms that our platform meets the highest international standards for information security and privacy. For us, security is not a side issue, it is the foundation on which we allow events and communities to grow.

That trust became even more visible this year: NATO even used our app during the NATO Summit The Hague 2026, because we meet the strict security requirements. A wonderful recognition of our commitment to structurally safeguarding security.

Launch of the Team Planner

One of the most practical innovations of the year was the launch of the Team Planner. Developed specifically for event organizers and event managers who want more control over the many tasks, teams and roles involved in organizing an event.

At a glance, it shows where people are still needed, which tasks have already been filled and where potential gaps may arise. It gives organizers peace of mind, clarity and a tool that truly works during the busiest moments. The enthusiastic responses show that this is a valuable addition to our platform.

Development of the Lead Scan

We developed the Lead Scan for exhibitors, a tool that helps capture leads quickly and clearly during conferences and trade shows. With a single scan of a badge or QR code, contact details are stored immediately and enriched with notes, priorities and follow-up actions. No more loose business cards, but one structured overview from a single app, enabling targeted follow-up in a secure way.

Ten years of Michiel

We also celebrated an internal milestone: the ten-year anniversary of Michiel, our software developer. A decade full of contributions to innovation, product development and team culture. A milestone that shows how valuable continuity and craftsmanship are within a growing company. Proud of him and of our dedicated team.
