Building engagement before the event
On the eve of the NVvA’s two-day symposium, an online discussion session was held through the Networkapp platform. Participants could also register for two online continuing education courses, creating excitement and preparing attendees for a programme filled with valuable knowledge sharing and new networking opportunities. Networkapp supported the entire event from start to finish, resulting in a seamless experience and highly satisfied users.
From registration to live event coordination
Participants registered through the NVvA website. Their registration details were automatically synchronized with Networkapp and linked directly to the Professional Development Credits (PDCs) for which they had registered. After downloading the app, participants could view their personal schedules and sign up for upcoming breakout sessions.
Thanks to Networkapp’s intelligent scheduling system, rooms could automatically be assigned based on the number of registrations for each session. During the event, the app also served as an interactive event guide, giving participants instant access to up-to-date room locations and programme information.
Polls, push notifications, and live voting
Networkapp’s interactive features, including polls, push notifications, and live voting, enabled the organizers to collect valuable feedback and engage participants throughout the symposium. NVvA used polls to allow attendees to vote for the event’s best speaker, with the winner announced immediately based on the live results. Push notifications proved especially useful for communicating last-minute programme changes, allowing participants to adjust their schedules in real time.
Working together with Easydus
For this event, NVvA combined Networkapp with Easydus, creating a seamless integration that simplified both the preparation and execution of the symposium. “The integration with Easydus ensures that participants are automatically assigned to the correct programme without any manual intervention from our team.
